Sample: It's Bobby Valentine!

by Palarch:

Lets face it.. this is a dream job. Big market, the best sports venue, a great team with talent. Bobby V understands this and I get the feeling from watching him that he is genuinely thrilled to have this whole thing find him.
He's been to other places, but nothing will compare to this.

At first I was really skeptical, I didn't want a former Met to be 'our' manager. After seeing him put on that jersey with what he had to say, I think he can be great here, just what this group needs. I just hope he doesn't blow it, let his emotions get to him and his ego get to others. He confronts issues and I like that. (It was interesting how he passed that question to Cherington when asked about what personnel move should be made in right field!) Hope he can stay on the same page as management..most of the time...that's going to be a challenge

It should also be interesting to see who he picks for his coaches, especially pitching; (someone on NY radio today mentioned David Cone of all people).

It's going to be a very interesting ride from here on out...
